BCP Film Office launch
I was absolutely delighted that the BCP Film Office chose You are also Us, my recent dance film with Cathy Waller Company, to screen at the launch event for the new service.
It was shown alongside films from AUB, BU, and other professional filmmakers, as local creatives, producers, and commissioners networked and chatted about all things Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.
I was particularly proud that the film was shared at the event because it’s now been touring the international film festival circuit to critical acclaim picking up awards, nominations and honorable mentions, and having been screened in America, Canada, Italy, Australia, Greece, Bulgaria, UK and Turkey. So an amazing example of how film can profile and celebrate a location worldwide!
